Webcam 3D Try-on
+81% Conversion Rates
- Marc Adamowicz, Happyview CEO
In a really competitive landscape, with more than 20 000 optical stores in France, Happyview was one of the first to launch an e-commerce website to offer affordable glasses for the 40 million French people that need it.
Happyview chose TryLive for Eyewear to offer consumers the same services than in-store, like the ability to try-on and feel the frames with their webcam before buying. TryLive enhances the user experience on Happyview’s website, from the home page where consumers are directly invited to discover the full collection via the virtual mirror, and even in the product page by offering different colors comparison and a video try-on mode for short-sighted people.
Combining it with a TV campaign on the M6 TV channel, Happyview was able to drive 10 times more visitors. And consumers are definitively captivated by the virtual mirror solution!
“Perfect simulation in 3D of the glasses try-on, consistent with the glasses I received at home”, said Kelly.
The results in terms of sales are also really positive; Happyview announces + 81% conversion rate for people using the virtual try-on.
For sure, young and middle-age people are more able to use this new feature, but this future aging generation is now educated and will drive the online sales as never before!
Happyview is a French online retailer, the first approved by the French Social Insurance since 2009, who provide everyone with an alternative to expensive glasses by offering a wide selection of eyeglasses online, without compromising quality, services and expertise like an in-store optician and for a third of the price.
Happyview joined the M6 group in 2013 and started a new growth with its first TV campaign in Summer 2014.
Happyview offers more than 700 types of prescription glasses and sunglasses, including the most famous brands. Happyview is supplied with the 2 leading prescription laboratories (Essor, a subsidiary of Essilor and Carl Zeiss).
